Hiking in Ischgl / Paznaun
Ischgl entices with endless hiking trails and impressive viewpoints. The Paznauner Höhenweg winds from the valleys up to the peaks and leads to numerous huts on the way up.
Hut Tours
Several huts can be reached within a shorter or daily hiking trip. In some of the huts, you can also stay overnight. Please ensure to book in advance in order to have a bed.
Mountainbiking
Ischgl is a paradise for mountain bikers. The 361 kilometers of trails include 16 routes of all difficulty levels – here, everyone can find a suitable route. There are also several shops who rent bikes.
SUP and swimming
The lake in See offers an awesome mixture of wellness und action. Right in the striking mountains of the Paznaun vallley, the lake does have an excellent water quality.
Climbing
In Ischgl, there are several climbing opportunities. In addition to bouldering in Galtür, sport climbers can find 20 routes in the Jamta nxt to numerous via ferratas in the breathtaking mountain world.
Tennis
If you want to play tennis, you do have four indoor and 4 outdoor tennis courts. The other villages do also have tennis courts. Come and have a nice match after having spent some time in the mountains.
For relaxing days
Fishing in Paznaun
At the so called Trisanna, you can fish a lot of river trout and speckled trouts. There are several mountain water spots with a faboulous mountain view where you can cast for fish.
Minigolf
The Minigolf and Pit Pat facility at Trisannaweg is an 18-hole minigolf course that’s popular among both tourists and locals. In addition to minigolf, you’ll find a trampoline, a chessboard, and a beach volleyball court there. It’s a great spot for some family-friendly fun!
Bogenparcours Pardatscher See
It allows you to demonstrate your marksmanship skills with a total of 28 different 3D forest animals. The course spans approximately 1.7 kilometers and offers an exciting challenge.
Wellness
Amidst various activities, a wellness day is a good change. After all, our muscles appreciate different forms of movement or a massage. The Silvretta Therme offers several options for relaxation. Treat yourself to some well-deserved pampering
Mountain Lakes
The Berglisee is a natural gem and undoubtedly our favorite lake. We ourselves enjoy the view and tranquility up there. The Paznaun region has several other mountain lakes that we can recommend

In Ischgl, there’s a diverse cultural offering. Alongside traditional events like the Almabtrieb (cattle drive) and the Ischgl Market Day, the event calendar for Ischgl, Galtür, Kappl, and See is well-filled with various cultural and traditional activities.

Hiking for Families
In Ischgl, there are stroller-friendly paths, like the popular Adventure Hiking Trail from Ischgl to Idalp. Along the 7.5 km route, all ages encounter delightful surprises including the Walk of Lyrics
Sunny Mountain Adventure ParK
Right next to the Diasbahn mountain station in Kappl, you’ll find an adventure park with 23 different activities. These include a playground, a petting zoo, and a climbing course. It’s a delightful spot for families.
Biking Trips
In the Paznaun region, there are various cycling routes that are enjoyable for children. Alongside trails, you’ll find beautiful destinations, such as the Wilderer Hütte (Wilderer Hut) with its animal park in Mathon
Kids- and Youth Club Paznaun
This club offer a diverse program for children of all age groups. Under professional guidance, the kids experience exciting mountain adventures – sometimes with the whole family!
Vider Truja Adventure Park
Your kids will instantly fall in love with the Vider Truja Adventure Park. Whether it’s the water park, boulder tower, slackline, or one of the relaxed barbecue stations, there’s plenty to keep them entertained.
